Alicante airport

Alicante airport is the sixth busiest airport in Spain (handled over 9,000,000 passengers in 2009) as well as a rapidly-expanding international airport, and the main airport for the Province of Alicante and the Region of Murcia. It is located within the municipality of Elche, its facilities lying just 9 km southwest of Alicante.

There are many ways to transfers into Alicante city from Alicante airport:

Scheduled buses run every hour to / from Alicante central bus station and cost approximately €1. There is also an Airport-Benidorm line which leaves from the same place at 10:30, 14:30, 17:30 and 21:30. The price is about €6. All buses depart from opposite the Arrivals hall.
